From the Barrel 2010 Estate FERGUSON – Ferguson Ridge Vineyard Our Estate Ferguson Ridge Vineyard (1,400 foot elevation) is located south of Seven Hills Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley. Although the vineyards are less than ½ mile apart, they are very different from each other. Ferguson Ridge is 300 feet higher with a thin layer of soil directly on top of fractured basalt. Seven Hills Vineyard has deep wind-blown loess soils. This comparative terroir tasting is not to be missed!
