This vineyard-designated Chardonnay is a select blend of Dijon clones accentuating this grape’s fruitiness, texture, freshness, and complexity. Managed with precision by experienced Viticulturalist Ed Kelly, Stillwater Creek Vineyard’s cooler climate and high elevation in the Royal Slope AVA contribute to the exceptional quality of both this Chardonnay and our Semillon from this site.
Tasting Notes
A lively Chardonnay, this single-vineyard wine displays perfumed aromas of orchard fruits – white peach, golden apple, and Meyer lemon – lifted by delicate white rose and layered with intriguing hints of almond skin, brioche, and chalk. The palate is driven by a pronounced mineral complexity that complements flavors of yellow apple and a touch of salinity, culminating in a clean, juicy, and refreshing finish.
